The UCAS Policy Unit

The Policy Unit has been established to interpret and gauge the impact of national educational policies. It aims to ensure that UCAS responds to changes in a way that is supportive to its member institutions as they too respond and adapt to ever-changing and evolving pre-HE and HE contexts. It is made up of a Policy Manager, three Policy Executives, a Policy Officer and a Research Team.

Its key areas of work focus on:

  • The pre-HE curriculum and progression to higher education
  • The development and use of the Tariff
  • Research, which underpins its policy work and informs the broader HE arena.
